Shrewsbury church receives $700 from historic Fragment Society

The bride, in a dark blue traveling suit, is a notable member of the Commercial division of the Chattle graduating class of 1912. After a honeymoon in Elizabeth New Jersey the couple will settle on Pearl street Elbeyon.

Spectacular Middletown Fire Destroys Poole Farm Barns
A major blaze at Charles G. Poole’s Port Monmouth farm destroyed barns and outbuildings with hay, injuring Poole who saved his mule and escaped with burns. Neighbors saved Poole’s automobile two wagons harness and two cultivators. Loss estimated around $4 000 with $6 000 insurance on buildings and $500 on the team. The fire origin is undetermined and spread to several structures before containment.

Choir funds raise dollar and verse for church tablet
