Mrs Walter Clayton nee Jones has been granted a decree nisi in divorce proceedings begun months ago against Harry Clayton. He once ran a painting business in the city. The petition was before W.8S.B. Parker with Tira Y Pay as petitioner’s solicitor. The couple married June 11, 1905 at Red Bank and lived apart for years. The husband reportedly packed his belongings and left his wife, and they met occasionally after separation but he did not recognize her.
