Growth of High School Here Most Rapid in State

The Long Branch Board of Education reports eleven school buildings with 74 rooms. Telephone Ball a Green Affair at Townley Hall

The New York Telephone Company employees hosted a St Patrick themed reception and dance in Townley Hall drawing 200 attendees from New York and nearby cities. Green decor badges and even green carnations set the mood. Each guest received a green champagne cork with a green fan inside. The event ran from 4:20 p.m. to 1 a.m. with dancing and a light supper, ending after a lively second half.
