Some believe the stash belonged to a ship builder from the Revolutionary era others think it may come from wrecked New Era passengers but the owner died before revealing the hiding place.

Mrs. Mary A King widow of Isaac King died at midnight at her son Charles King’s home in Poplar Ocean township after a two year illness. She was 82.
