The Alumni Association hosted a two o'clock reception at Townley's Hall to honor the graduating class of Chattle High School as 1912 closes. Hosts included Prof. J. A. Mattuck and Mr. Hull with plans for a 1913 reception and a fall social calendar. Rev. Dr LB Annies remains ill yet in Trinity parish.

Special Service at Trinity Church Leads to Sermon in Union
Rev Dr Paul Cain pastor of Union church in Pawtucket will lead a special service at Trinity Church in Long Branch this winter. A singing choir will perform as the event attracts locals and faithful from nearby towns. Parishioners are invited to hear him again at future services.

Nude man captured after being found in Brook
Police officers Woods and Hewitt took into custody a nearly nude man found wading in Throckmorton Brook near Hast Front street early this morning. The man, later identified as possible Oceanic resident Joseph Casey, 83, was taken to Borough Hall for a Red Bank doctor’s examination after a suit case was found nearby.

Matawan Wins Ejectment Suit Over Fountain Avenue Issue
A jury awarded six cents damages to the Borough of Matawan in an ejectment case against Rosa F. Schock over a bay window extending into Fountain avenue. The judge granted a non-suit to the plaintiff at the close of testimony, while a separate trial against Jersey Central Traction Company found no liability for a July 1911 accident that injured Ms. Conk.
