Outlook for Republican convention prolonged to next Monday

Chicago June 21 It appears the Republican convention may run into next week with a longer option secured at the Coliseum. The Credentials Committee has met since yesterday and Taft leaders constrain them, delaying a full report. Roosevelt forces show limited protest.

Players' Boat Club Benefit Show In Red Bank

The annual Monstrous vaudeville benefit for Fair Haven's Players' Boat Club will be staged at the Red Bank Lyceum on Thursday night of next week with nationally known actors and Eva Tanguay among the performers. The club promises a show that tops previous years with a New York theatre orchestra providing music. Also advertised are corsets from 75 cents to 10 dollars at Futton's Corset Shop, and a bake sale Saturday morning at the corner of Blonder and Third Ave.

The New Jersey Court of Errors and Appeals issued 51 rulings in Trenton with the collateral inheritance tax case against Mary L Salter and George Sawter reversed, saving about 300000 for the state and 40000 in the assessed tax. The court also ordered a new trial for Allison McFarland in a Newark murder case and affirmed a Monmouth County Electric versus Consolidated Gas suit over trolley power rates.

Asbury Park Fire Destroys Brick Building

A four story brick structure at Mat tison Avenue and Ocean Street Asbury Park was damaged by fire from the cellar. R A Tusting piano dealer occupied the lower floor. six families lived on upper floors. Firefighters and policemen evacuated residents as floors collapsed and piano stock valued at $15 000 was lost. Fire began shortly after one this morning with unknown origin.
