Leopold Marks aged 79 died suddenly at his Union avenue home from heart trouble after a day of improving health. He was an immigrant from Cologne who built a life in Long Branch through stores hotels and real estate before retiring. He leaves a widow a brother Frederick W and a sister in Germany with funeral planned for Thursday.
