At the Long Branch Cycle Club, a mass crash on lap nine of the ten lap handicap left ten riders off their wheels. Harry Low and Ralph Johnson suffered broken collars. both were taken to Monmouth Memorial Hospital. Fisher responsible for the mixup was disqualified. Several cyclists were scratched or bruised. After the accident the final three lap handicap was postponed.

Funeral of Miss Isabella McGuire in Red Bank
The funeral for Isabella McGuire daughter of Charles and Mary McGuire of Beach Street Red Bank was held yesterday at two pm at her aunt Mrs Catherine Bowman's Pearl Street home. Rev Johnson officiated. Interment at White Ridge cemetery was arranged by funeral director Harry C Fay. Isabella, 21, died Friday of tuberculosis and is survived by her parents and three sisters.

Farmhand Kills Self After Stealing Revolver
Robert Weitzman a 41 year old German farmhand on the Borden farm near Humson shot himself after stealing a .38 revolver from a watchman's box in the coach house on M. C. D. Borden farm on Bingham avenue yesterday morning. Despondency is listed as the cause and he left no apparent relatives in the country. He had begun drinking heavily after a brief period of work on the farm arranged through a New York employment agency about three weeks ago. He died instantly after the shot to the head just after three o'clock yesterday afternoon. The case is being investigated and Superintendent Joseph Whitley was noted to have notified authorities.
