Fine Steel Tower To Be Built Here
An eighty five foot steel tower with a forty foot flag staff will replace the wrecked Long Branch tower from Christmas night. The new tower will extend the range for observed warnings. Nichols of the United States Weather Bureau visited to inspect and arrange display from a temporary support until the tower is built. The weather bureau station here has operated for seventeen years with low wreck and strain rates along the coast.
