Arthur Sussman reported an 18 pound wild turkey shipped from Apex North Carolina on Thursday and arriving Saturday in excellent condition. Funeral announced for Rev Benjamin Lippincott
The body of former West Long Branch pastor Rev Benjamin C Lippincott will be interred tomorrow at Haver Green cemetery. He died Saturday at Ocean Grove aged 84 after a long illness. He served many New Jersey towns and held church leadership roles across several periods of his career. He leaves a widow and four children including Dr Jesse Lippincott and Rev B C Lippincott Jr.

Auto Crash In Colts Neck Injures 14 Year Old Edith Layton
A collision on Colts Neck road after 6 pm between a Schaffer runabout driven by Mygrand and an auto owned by Charles Schaffer injures Edith Layton fourteen of Hast Freehold. She was thrown and pinned under the car suffering arm and face lacerations and leg bruises while the horse of the runabout was badly hurt. The incident also damages both vehicles. The auto driver is Schaffer’s chauffeur. Independent Ladies Auxiliary officers elected include Mrs Charles Reeves president and Mrs Jesse Green first vice president. The measure makes the municipality the voting unit on liquor questions and allows petition by thirty percent of voters to order a vote.
