William White former Manasquan postmaster died suddenly at his son-in-law T. J. R. Brown’s home in Toms River. Baruch Reduction May Cut Personal Tax On Anchorage
The Freehold county board heard appeals from Simon Hess and H N Baruch over assessments. Hess sought a reduction from 15 000 to 3 000 on personal property with City Solicitor Slocum and lawyer Fay presenting. Baruch's lands valued at 83 000 were kept, but his personal tax dropped from 8 000 to 5 000 after examination.

SUPT ARROWSMITH DIES AT RED BANK IN 68th YEAR
Stephen V. Arrowsmith superintendent of Red Bank schools died at Red Bank on Friday in his sixty eighth year after prolonged illness. Born April 18 1847 at Arrowsmiths Mills near Keyport he later taught in Keyport and Red Bank and held leadership roles in state education associations. He married Sarah Sprowl in 1868 and was active in Democratic politics and local fraternal and church groups.

Johnson Wins Three Mile Race At Chelsea Rink
A. J. Jolson of Montclair won the three mile running race at Chelsea Rink Saturday night. Job Hayes of this city, employed at Montclair, competed against Johnson Hopf. Hayes fell six laps from the finish and Johnson led by a half lap at the end. Time was 14 minutes 46 seconds over seventy two laps. Organizers plan another race.
