Woman Nearly Burned To Death In Home Incident
Mrs. Walter Hand of the Highlands barely escaped a fatal burn Sunday night when a glass lamp in her Cedar Street kitchen exploded as she tried to refill it with kerosene. The lamp chimney shattered, oil splashed onto her night dress and undergarments, burning her clothing and parts of her body including her chin and chest. She will be confined for months before walking again.
