Ice yachtsmen gathered at Branchport for a South Shrewsbury Ice Boat and Yacht Club meeting the most lively of the winter series. Plans for races and friendly cups formed while consolidation of river clubs was rejected. Ex-Commodore Gibbons promoted the sport with a new Arnti boat and a $100 trophy offered for best three of five races. A regatta committee was chosen and a schedule to be released with ice conditions.
