Abraham Lane a lifelong Lane Branch resident and early hook and line fisherman died at his home after a brief illness. He retired twenty five years ago and helped pioneer the Nanvoo Sea Bright fishing run with his father. Survived by widow now in her seventies and several sons including George A Lane. Funeral Friday at 2 pm from Lane homestead with Rev. Dr. George H. Neal officiating. Burial at West Lot Pons under John G. Sexton Funeral Director.
