Body found floating off Sandy Hook by Life Saving crew
Life Saving Station No. 1 found a decomposed body floating off Sandy Hook yesterday afternoon. The deceased, about 35, six feet tall with dark hair, wore union underwear a soft shirt dark trousers a belt socks and tan shoes with a black necktie. Coroner Morris will hold the body at his morgue for days to aid identification and possible inquiry from a missing fishing boat.

A lighted candle in a second story front room of the Rimo building in Bronway near Second avenue started a small blaze after the renters left a kerosene lamp out.
