Boy Hit By Auto Likely To Die In Nutley Ocean Grove
Hartley Clements seven years old son of W H Clements Nutley N J was seriously hurt by an automobile at Ocean Grove and lies in a critical condition with a fractured skull. The car was owned by Frank K Thompson of Philadelphia and driven by Charles Burton, a chauffeur. Witnesses said the boy ran into the road and there was no time to avoid the collision.

Highlands Carnival Opens With Three Day Festivities
Highlands prepares for a grand three day carnival with decorated stores, hotels, and homes. A parade of business men and floats opens tomorrow at 1 30 pm followed by the crowning of the queen at Twin Light rink. Friday features a cross country run and a children's parade. Spectators will view most of the 21 mile race from the rink and Bay Avenue end.
