A large crowds watched the Long Branch Doll Carnival parade the first under the Long Branch Record association. Queen Marion was crowned at Washington Park in a ceremony with band and decor, while spectators enjoyed ice cream and cake at the Y M C A building.

Guilds Host Lawn Fete At Parker Lawn
The Young Ladies Guild of First Reformed Church held a successful lawn fete last night on W. B. Parker’s lawn at Broadway and Dudley Street. Many visitors attended. Kalon Castle No. 72 Ky GE after its Odd Fellows session feasted on ice cream. Dr J O Green, a Church Inter Federation member, treated members to peach short cake. The Sunday school orchestra played as booths including the aeroplane booth did thriving business.

Auto Victim Dies in Hospital Here
Hartley Clements an 11 year old Nutley resident was struck on Main Avenue Ocean Grove by Frank J. Thompson's car Tuesday. He died at Monmouth Memorial Hospital shortly after eleven o'clock. The boy suffered a forehead fracture and scalp injuries, was unconscious on arrival, and never regained consciousness. The car owner awaits coroner's jury action.

Race meet attracts society to Hollywood polo ball
