In court this morning Recorder Arrowsmith handled cases from Saturday and Friday. William Howland, charged with drunkenness, admitted guilt and a Sept. 4 sentencing date was set. Joseph McBride of Trenton, summering at Asbury Park, received ten days for soliciting intoxicants. Gabriel and Garfield Major of Red Bank, under liquor influence, were arrested at 9 30. Garfield fined $5, Mrs Major posted her jewelry to secure the payment amid pleas for leniency.
