Aviator Mars Survives Narrow Narrows Flight Crash
J C Mars narrowly escaped death when his Curtiss biplane plunged sixty feet into the Narrows opposite Fort Wadsworth during a flight from the Sheepshead Bay track to Staten Island. He was picked up by the tug Hustler after the wreck, later planning to reflight once the machine is repaired.

Jealous Italian fires on rival injuring two in Jersey City
In Jersey City at Hillside and Morris avenues a jealous Italian named Lucia shot Joseph Devonne twice before fleeing toward Jeffrey street. Devonne and John Abruzio were wounded. Abruzio, holding a baby, had a bullet lodged in his stomach. Patrolman LaParre pursued Lucia but failed to capture him. both victims were hospital bound with non fatal injuries.

The Surrogate's Court at Freehold probates the will of John Hicks of Long Branch dated March 14 1910 appointing his brother Martin L Hicks as executor. Five hurt in runaway wagon near Manalapan Englishtown
Albert Nolan, three women and a boy were thrown ten feet into a gully after a wagon down a steep incline broke a tongue and ran out of control. Miss Rosetta MecCart Miss Florence Cunningham and Mrs. McGuire with son Thomas suffered bruises while Cunningham dislocated a collar bone. Ambulance rushed them to the Manalapan hotel for treatment.

A Turkish linen peddler was attacked after leaving an Ocean Avenue hotel by a young man resembling an Italian in a light suit. The assailant demanded the victim’s money, stole his pocketbook, and fled as two men in a wagon found him dazed. Police were alerted and sought a suspect described as male, light suit, tan shoes.
