First Man Bird Flies Over Long Branch At Aviation Meet
Ralph Johnstone of the Wright brothers corps sailed over Long Branch Saturday afternoon during the Asbury Park aviation meet. He flew a cross country route two miles north of the field, then along the coast to Interlaken, descending from 3,000 to 2,000 feet before gliding to ground. Hoxsey also flew to sea near Asbury Park.
