School Board Must Call Meeting Over Land Purchase Vote
J Brognard Betts, assistant state commissioner of education, ruled the Warren Township Board of Education erred by not calling a meeting of legal voters to rescind a land purchase resolution. The case arose after voters earlier authorized land acquisition and Stoltz refused sale. Betts states majority will is supreme in both approval and defeat of land proposals and orders a meeting to be held under commissioner jurisdiction.
