Multitude enjoys big Long Branch pageant and masque fete
The Long Branch pageant drew ten thousand spectators as Governor Wilson and his party attended a children’s festival along Ocean Avenue. A champion list of prize winners was announced for go carts dolls and masquerades. The pageant featured floats and decorations with local families and out-of-town entries, and plans for 1912 were already under way.
