First rehearsal for coronation attended by queen and court

The first rehearsal for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth IV was held at the Tasting building opposite City Hall with a large attendance. May or Newcomb crowned the queen, and many pages and maids met the queen for the first time. The event promised to surpass last year and featured French and Scottish dances with soloists. Tickets for the coronation ball are selling well, and the queen and her court were invited to a Hollywood Hotel masquerade but could not attend due to the rehearsal. A corrected court list names Mercedes Crum as queen and Harvey D. Leuin as crown-bearer among others.
