GANG OF COLORED GIRL ROBBERS BUSY AT SHORE TOWNS
In a Recorder’s court, Esther Brown and Ella Mack were identified by multiple victims as the two of the “match” gang. Victims describe assaults on Ocean Avenue and Second Avenue near Avery Place, with one man robbed of $3 and a pocketbook taken. Police tracked the pair to Cottage Place, arresting them outside the Hollywood Hotel. Also named were several other victims who connected the duo to prior incidents, while one elderly man lost $62 after Brown embraced him and Brown and Mack denied the charges.

The Jersey Central Traction Company plans a brick sub power station at Rewlor Place near Cooper's Bridge Red Bank. Former pastor dies of Bright's disease in New Jersey
Rev. George Story Meseroll aged about fifty five died at New Brunswick after years of poor health from Bright's disease. A longtime pastor in the New Jersey Conference he served many churches from Camden to Atlantic City and Long Branch. He is survived by a widow and three children Martha Elizabeth and Homer Meseroll. Funeral plans were not yet completed.

Trolley Conductor Injured In Jersey Central Collision
Rutherford man Joseph T. Willis a new trolley conductor on Jersey Central Traction was knocked from a car on a straight track at twenty miles an hour. He lay unconscious with bleeding from both ears and a severe cut to the forehead. Chief Snedeker and bystander William Scheffield rushed him to Monmouth Memorial Hospital in Long Branch in 22 minutes. Willis, who supports an aged mother, showed faint signs of recovery at the hospital.
