Case Defends Sister Linked to Communist Front Report

Senator Kin's candidate Clifford P Case of New Jersey rejects a Newark Star Ledger report tying his sister Adelaide Case to a 1943 Communist front. He says the claim stems from mistaken identity and notes his sister described as mentally ill told him of a left wing study group only in general terms. He asked FBI Director Hoover to investigate but heard nothing. Case labels the report a smear and says his sister's past illness is not connected to her current views. The FBI declined comment. The piece also mentions Adelaide Case who died in 1943 and Bella Dodd's association claim. Arthritis Conquered is listed as a separate ad item for LONG BEACH.
