Auto Crash Kills L. B. Businessman and Four Others
Long Beach hardware store operator Keith H. Parke and four others died in a head on Nevada crash on Highway 395 about 55 miles south of Gardnerville. Parke and his 12 year old twin sons were injured. Edwin Adkisson and three Marines also perished in the wreck near Tule Lake while on a hunting trip. Survivors include Adkisson’s wife Ursula and two sons plus a stepson. Facilities took the bodies to Carson City and Gardnerville mortuaries.
