Former Beauty Held in Knifing Mate to Death

A former Hollywood film technician was stabbed to death in Los Angeles. His wife, a former Miss Los Angeles 1940 and former Miss Streamline, was arrested on suspicion of murder after claiming he attacked her with a wine bottle before she grabbed a knife.
