Memphis Hero Tom Lee Dies at 66

Flash Flood Routs Havre Montana After Ice Jam
Havre Montana April 1 A flash flood caused by ice jams east of the city drove about 1500 residents into subfreezing weather as a three foot wall of water poured over Fresno Dam widening the inundated area. An estimated 8000 homes were flooded with 2 dozen trailers moved and 1500 homes likely homeless. No human or livestock losses reported. Big Sandy Creek and Milk River flooded, a bridge on U S Highway 2 washed out, and a flimsy dike held in the north side.
