Two Hurt in Weekend Traffic Crashes at Lompoc Area
Over the weekend two separate crashes sent three people to hospital. Robert John Ray 17 of Vandenberg AFB and Raymond Eakes of Vandenberg Village sustained injuries in a motorcycle collision with a car driven by Frank Walter Falatko 52 of Lompoc. Ray remained in Base Hospital in satisfactory condition with injuries to his left foot and a wrist. Eakes at Lompoc Hospital had internal injuries and was listed in satisfactory condition. The Laurel Avenue and R Street crash occurred Sunday morning. A separate Saturday night collision at Ocean Avenue and G Street left Mary Atochita Montoya 45 with minor injuries after her car hit Bartolo Cargasacchi 82 of Lompoc. Montoya was treated at Lompoc Hospital. Early Saturday at Ocean Avenue and A Street Merrill Ferdinand Tooley 45 of Vandenberg AFB and Richard Garcia Terrones 30 of Lompoc escaped injury in the crash.
