Dykes A. Simmons Jr known as the forgotten American who escaped a Mexican prison dressed as a woman was found beaten to death in Fort Worth. After spending 10 years in Monterrey prison for a physician’s family murder, he fled in April with visiting inmates and later crossed the Rio Grande. Police said he was beaten in one part of town and driven to another nine miles away.
