Taylor dominates stock car action at Santa Maria Speedway

Lompoc driver Bob Taylor won the third heat trophy dash and both final heats plus the main event at Santa Maria Speedway Friday. He started 14th in the 20 lap main, battled to the front with Stanley and Atlas, grabbing the lead on the final turn to edge Stanley. Supermodified winner was Darrell Walker, with Don Brown and Corky Milor winning heats and dashes. The track will be dark next weekend for the 100 lap open event on October 2.
