Over the weekend five people were injured in four traffic crashes with three in serious condition. Robin Louise Garman from Vandenberg Village sustained serious head injuries in a bicycle collision with Mary Coskrey Brackin.

Dum Dum Bullets Used In Northern Ireland Attack
A sniper fired dum dum bullets at a British soldier at an observation post near Londonderry. The wounded man, hit in the back, was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital and described as seriously ill. This marked the first reported use of such bullets in Northern Ireland amid ongoing violence. 22 soldiers have died this year and 126 injured.
