Mexico plans a border wide boycott of American goods led by Carlos Torres Manzo after Nixon's 10 percent import surcharge. Forces on alert in Mideast after Israeli plane shot down

Israeli and Egyptian forces went on alert at the Suez Canal after an Israeli air transport was shot down over the Sinai Peninsula.
