Danish Days draws huge crowds in Solvang weekend
Solvang with a population of 2500 hosted Danish Days as crowds reached an estimated 35 000 to 40 000 over two days. The event featured a grand ball, a Saturday night dance, outdoor breakfasts, a parade, and performances by Myron Floren and local bands under ideal weather conditions.

St. Mark's in the Valley Episcopal Church will sponsor a Book Fair on Saturday October 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Dunn Hall at Laurel Avenue and Alisal Road Solvang.
