Segretti Indicted on Conspiracy and Publication Offenses

Donald H. Segretti, 31, a Los Angeles attorney and former Treasury aide, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Tampa on conspiracy and illegal publication charges related to political statements against Democratic hopefuls. The case, returned Aug. 24, cites co-defendants Robert M. Benz, 25, and George A. Hearing, 40. Archibald Cox announced the indictment and noted Segretti sought transfer to Washington to plead guilty.

Freeway hearing postponed for Lompoc by pass
