Schools to Open Tuesday in Lompoc Area

About 1 000 teachers and staff and 14 000 students across 18 schools in Lompoc Mission Hills Vandenberg Village and Vandenberg AFB prepared for the opening day. Tomorrow will be school start with California Admission Day holiday on Tuesday and a return to classes on Wednesday. Parents shopped Saturday as children prepared for the new school year with back to school routines.
