Murder suspect sought in UCSB axe slayings
The sheriff issued an all points bulletin for a male oriental suspect about 20, five feet eight, 140 pounds, clean shaven with black hair. He may drive a white 1969 VW camper with a red velvet lined guitar case. Two students died and a third was wounded on the beach near the UCSB campus during the Fourth of July weekend. The weapon was a small axe or large knife.
