Jumbo Jet hijacked to Cuba for second time this year

A Boeing 747 on American Airlines Flight 98 from New York to Puerto Rico was hijacked by an armed man. Three sky marshals and an off duty FBI agent aboard could not prevent the hijacking and the plane landed safely in Havana at 9 58 p m EDT. This marked the ninth US airliner hijacked to Cuba this year with several other attempts ending in Canada Nassau and Buenos Aires.
