Suspect questioned after knifing of Lompoc seamstress
A 69 year old Lompoc seamstress Delfina Brambila was found unconscious in her workroom with a deep throat cut and forehead scratches. A prime suspect was being questioned at 10 p.m. after four hours of surgery left the victim in guarded condition. Police linked a man known to Brambila to the crime and planned further questioning as investigators pursued a garage tip about a dead woman.

Public Works Chief Dawson Resigns in Lompoc
