Stewardess foils hijacker on 737 flight from Alaska to Cuba
Nancy Davis, a 22 year old stewardess from Seattle, talked down Dale Labon Thomas after he brandished a gun aboard a Wein-Consolidated Airlines jet with 31 passengers. The plane halted at Anchorage then flew to Vancouver where Thomas surrendered to RCMP after a 12 hour border tense episode. He had been released from a federal prison camp in Alaska in August after a manslaughter sentence.
