Officials fear more building bombings in West Coast wave

On Thursday bombs rocked the Marin County Hall of Justice in San Rafael, the University of Washington Clark Hall in Seattle, and a Santa Barbara National Guard armory. Gov. Ronald Reagan and State Deputy A G Charles O'Brien warned of further attacks tied to the Weathermen. No injuries were reported. pre-attack warnings preceded most blasts.

Deadline passes in FLQ diplomat kidnapping in Montréal

Write Hanoi campaign planned by Lompoc Red Cross

The Lompoc Valley Chapter of the Red Cross will sponsor a Write Hanoi letter drive as part of a national effort to urge North Vietnam to honor POW provisions of the Geneva Conventions. The campaign starts with the October 15 meeting at the Lompoc Library and runs with booths the week of October 17.
