Mission Hills mother stops would be kidnap attempt
Sheriff officials report Mrs. Roberta Duncan chased and stabbed a would be kidnapper with a kitchen fork to save her 2 year old son Charles Lee Crispin. The suspect fled after the attack leaving a facial stab wound. he is described as about six feet tall with black hair wearing a dark suit. The child was unharmed and authorities search for the attacker possibly posing as a door to door salesman. The incident may relate to a custody dispute with the father.

County to recheck Miguelito Canyon Road plans in Lompoc
