Developer testifies in Agnew grand jury probe

Millionaire land developer Joel Kline testified before a federal grand jury in Baltimore for 45 minutes amid a probe into kickback charges against Vice President Spiro Agnew. Elks End Whites Only Policy After National Vote

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks voted 4 to 1 to drop the whites only clause ending racial exclusion across about 2,100 lodges nationwide. National results show 1,184,675 in favor and 309,276 against with Grand Exalted Ruler Robert A. Yothers noting the shift allows focus on charitable works.
