Naval unit begins base project work at Vandenberg Lake Canyon
A 13 man team from the 31st Naval Construction Regiment at Port Hueneme began a conservation project on Vandenberg AFB. They excavate a 1acre lake with a 450 foot dam, while under a five man aggressor team to simulate combat. Work includes roads, picnic grounds, and lake cleanup with a second team planned for Oct 12.
