Lompoc High School hosts its annual Christmas concert December 20 at 8 p.m. in the gymnasium with both vocal and instrumental divisions performing selections including Handel and White Christmas. Directors Jerry Weakley and Tim Mussard seek a large turnout and invite audience sing along during the tribute of carols. Poems by Julie Singleman appear on this page.
Lompoc Senior High School Thespian Troupe 779 presents The Knave of Hearts December 5 6 7 8 in the Little Theatre. Four matinees at 4 pm run daily with two evening shows December 7 and 8 at 7 30 pm. Four Andrews siblings attend Cabrillo High School at once Kathi and Kris seniors with strong journalism and sports roles Jeff junior active in water polo and clubs Buddy freshman? planning Air Force career and varied hobbies. The family notes include twins and multiple yearbook and student council involvement across the four siblings.
Cabrillo High hosted a November pep rally for the Sea Kings with songs skits and cheers. Coaches and players received thanks and highlighted All-League selections as students anticipated the CIF Water Polo game versus Palos Verdes.
