Water commission to decide on hike in monthly bills

Consultant to Meet with School Trustees to Pick Wegner Successor

A three member committee screening applicants for Wegner's 33000 dollar annual post says the educator will meet privately with the school trustees tomorrow and then issue a public statement. Wegner retires at year end after 17 years. About 91 applicants were considered and 10 to 12 remain for interviews by a four member committee from teacher groups and the community. Trustees will announce four finalists at 3 30 p.m. in Central Administration Building.
