Evidence sought in Summerland boating accident case
The district attorney's office asked the Sheriff's Department for signed statements and supporting data in the case of 20 year old Susan Allen who was seriously injured when struck by a boat while swimming nude off Summerland. Assistant DA William Cotter said charges against operator Eugene F. Coreaga may await these statements from Allen and her two companions. The incident left Allen with a compound fracture to her right elbow.
