Public meeting on Title X and Title IX input in Lompoc
The Santa Barbara County Status of Women Commission sponsors a 7 30 p m public hearing at the Lompoc Public Library to monitor Title IX implementation and share ideas. Mark Wilson SB County Schools office will speak along with Lompoc district leaders Alice Milligan Mel Wilde and David Manship. Surf Mist Noncommissioned Officers Club at Vandenberg AFB hosts old fashioned family style Thanksgiv ing dinners on Nov 25. Reservations 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at 734 4361. meals include whole 11 pound turkeys at 29 dollars for six, with 2.95 extra per person. Half turkeys 19 dollars for four, turkey plates 4.95, free for children under five. Three serving times 12 noon 2 30 p.m. 5 p.m. Carryout bags provided for leftovers. Senior citizens offered 2.95 plate. Transportation and gate passage being arranged.

Dinner fundraiser supports 4-H delegate to Washington
A spaghetti dinner hosted by the West side 4-H Club raised funds to cover Dan Hilden’s expenses as a 4-H citizenship short course delegate in June in Washington D C.
