Lompoc City Council to act on IBEW salary MOU

The Lompoc City Council is set to approve a memorandum of understanding with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers over a salary contract during tonight's 7:30 council meeting at City Hall. City Administrator Gene Wahlers said a three month wage and fringe benefit negotiation was settled with union ratification of the city final offer of 10 to 15 percent raises over one year for outside operations and maintenance staff.

Absentee ballots may lift Lewis's tally.
