Mission Hills students pair with Los Berros for bicentennial activities
K 2 pupils from La Mesa School will visit Los Berros primary grades with assigned partners and enjoy a free hot dog lunch funded by the PTA. Morning events include sack and wheel barrow races overseen by student council reps, while afternoon hosts Los Berros intermediate activities. May 31 marks the last holiday before year end, with June 8 as final day. Red White and Blue Day on May 18 featured a bicentennial flag salute led by Troop 443, a color guard, student singing, and bicentennial remarks by Tom Freeman.
